Grosgrain or Cotton Bows: Soak for 5-10 minutes in a weak solution of mild soap (baby shampoo works well) and warm water. If stain or dirt is stubborn, rub between your fingers gently. Rinse with cool water and place on an absorbent surface until dry. Be sure to reshape and fluff as necessary.

If bows wrinkle or crease, run them through a steamer and reshape as necessary.

Embroidered items: We recommend handwashing in warm water and laying flat to dry, reshaping as necessary. We have had luck washing these items inside out, in a mesh laundry bag, on a gentle cycle in the washing machine, then laying them flat on an absorbent cloth to dry, reshaping as needed. If you wash in the machine, they will tend to wrinkle quite a bit during the spin cycle. We don't recommend ironing as an iron might flatten the embroidery.

Silk or Velvet bows: Due to the delicate nature of the fabric, washing is not recommended. Spot clean only. Steaming to reshape works great.
